New START Treaty Between Russia and U.S.A.
May 13 2010--The U.S. Department of State has published the "Joint Statement by the Delegations of the Russian Federation and the U.S. on New Start Treaty," which U.S. Pres. Obama and Russian Pres. This is an excellent step forward for both countries to levels of disarmament not seen for fifty years. Also, the New Start Treaty is a good example to the world of leadership and real results. Hopefully it will add to our credibilty in dealing with nuclear proliferation that effects the entire globe.
